Custom Flagstone Patio
We hired Set In Stone Masonry to put in a flagstone patio at our cottage in Muskoka. The cottage is 85 years old, so we wanted our patio to look as if it had been there for decades as well. Set In Stone happily worked with us to pick the best stone suited for the job and the elements and the layout. When finished, we had the exact patio we had envisioned. Stair Project
Andrew did a wonderful job rebuilding our front steps and enlarging a window opening in a side brick wall. The front steps go up a full story from ground level to second floor (which is our main floor), so the job was not a small one at all. He provided us with expert advice choosing the materials for the front steps (there is a bewildering variety of options available), and his judgment turned out to be great. He is a
true craftsman, working to extremely high standards and taking infinite pains until everything is just right. Looking at the brickwork round the enlarged window, you'd never know that it's been changed. Not only are we delighted with the results, but the front steps get constant admiring comments from neighbours and passers-by. In addition, he is very easy to
